Alfaz del Pi Tourist InformationAlfas means sown land and was called this name by the Moors who originally grew fruit and almonds here. They also mined metals and gypsum. Tourism is very important in the economic and cultural development of L\šAlfas del Pi. The town boasts a Municipal Arts Centre, a Multi-sports Centre and Health Centre. The town has 12,552 inhabitants of which almost half are foreigners. Every autumn an Exhibition of handscrafts, environment and health is held in Alfaz del Pi.
